About the Role

We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the P-8A Poseidon Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
• Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
• Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
• Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
• Embracing a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel

Essential Requirements

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures)
• Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
• Hold a current driver's licence

Desirable

• Previous experience working with Military aircraft
• Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence

This role may require travel and periods working away from home. It's a great chance to immerse yourself in a different environment with our customer while carrying out the duties of the role.
