The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a motivated Structures Aeroskills Apprentice to join its Maintenance Team at RAAF Base Amberley, for individuals who have completed the theory component of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) and want practical workplace experience on the F/A-18F Super Hornet, C-17 Globemaster and E-7 Wedgetail fleets.
What You'll Be Exposed To
- Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Aircraft inspections and servicing
- Component removal, installation and testing
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Technical documentation and maintenance recording
- Airworthiness, safety and quality management systems
Essential Requirements
- Completed the theory component of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills
- Australian citizen, eligible for an NV1 security clearance (sponsored by Boeing Defence Australia)
- Successful completion of the Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) Assessment
- Meet Defence access requirements and pre-employment screening
