About the Role
BDA is seeking an experienced Technical and Aircrew Publications Specialist to support the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP). Based at RAAF Base Amberley near Ipswich, Queensland, this role is part of a collaborative team responsible for planning, coordinating, creating, and releasing specialised Technical and Aircrew Publications and program-related artefacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the development of multiple publication elements, ensuring work is delivered with accuracy, consistency, and first-time quality
- Create and release specialised Technical and Aircrew Publications and program-related artefacts in line with required standards and schedules
- Actively assist in the development of management plans and work instructions to support compliance, quality, and achievement of scheduled deliverables
- Liaise with Defence customers and key stakeholders to understand priorities, system safety concerns, and publication schedules
- Conduct quality and in-process reviews and validate technical and aircrew publications to ensure adherence to processes and requirements
- Manage competing priorities effectively, remaining composed under pressure and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
Essential Requirements
- Experience within an aviation environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and prioritise activities to achieve defined objectives while maintaining adherence to policy and procedure
- Strong accountability and ownership in delivering outcomes that positively impact team and program performance
- Proven capability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders
