Based at the Perth Jet Centre adjacent to the domestic terminals at Perth Airport, AVWest originally started operations in the late 1980s as a private flight department for a local company. With stable operations for a number of years, in 2005 the decision was made to transform the operation into a standalone company offering the full range of business aviation services to a wider client base.
