About the Role

We are looking to employ a qualified person to join our team in a full-time capacity with our business in Tamworth, NSW, which provides fuel handling and storage solutions to industry with an emphasis on aviation. The successful applicant may have previous industry experience, or can be trained on the job, and will grow to manage custom designs and solutions for our customers from sales quotation right through to completion of the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review customer requirements to develop and present appropriate solutions that are effective and efficient in design, and matched to our production capabilities.
  • Produce GA and workshop drawings showing the intended equipment details.
  • Produce technical solutions suited to customer needs, including designs, equipment selection, and documentation such as Operations & Maintenance manuals.
  • Work with production staff to achieve delivery commitments and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
  • Prepare costings, including selection of system components for project costing.
  • Manage and process quotations and customer orders.

About You

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from an Australian university (new graduates welcome).
  • Experienced user of SolidWorks within a Microsoft network.
  • Prepared to learn the standards and practices relating to our industry.
  • Prepared to deal directly with external customers, nationally and internationally.
  • Australian citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to perform ongoing full-time work.
