Wrightsair "The Spirit of the Outback" Lake Eyre Scenic Flight & Charter Flight Specialist Established in 1992 by Trevor Wright. Wrightsair operates under the LA & AM Matthews AOC providing scenic and charter flights by highly experienced commercial pilots with extensive outback experience. We specialise in Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, being the closest settlement to it, and the Anna Creek Painted Hills scenic flights. Wrightsair offer aircraft charter from William Creek and Coober Pedy. Wrightsair also operates at the Wilpena Pound Resort, offering scenic flights over Wilpena Pound and day trips to Arkaroola and over Lake Eyre. We operate highly maintained high wing single engine aircraft and low wing twin engine aircraft. Our wide fleet include: Cessna 208B Grand Caravans Twin engine Aerostar GA8 Airvans Cessna 210s, 207s, 206s, 182s & 172s These aircraft are utilised for their reliability, comfort and suitability in outback areas of Australia and operated by our experienced bush pilots. Wrightsair maintains a close relationship with the local communities, cattle stations, and the Traditional Owners.

History Corporate Air was launched in 1972 by local Canberra interests. At the time of commencement of services, the Company operated a flying school and a small air charter business. The flying school was successful, as was the air charter business. Many of the people who learnt to fly with us are now airline pilots with major airlines around the world. Success in the air charter business allowed measured growth and opportunities in the industry led to the purchase of the first Company turboprop aircraft in 1989. The Company now operates 18 turboprop aircraft including eleven Saab 340B+WTs. Corporate Air has not experienced the explosive growth that some aviation companies experience. The organisation has very deliberately taken a conservative, safe and strategic approach to business. As a result, it is one of the few organisations that has operated in the regional aviation market for more than 50 years. The Company has an unblemished safety record and, in line with CASA Regulations, holds an ‘Airline’ Air Operator’s Certificate (Domestic and International). Today Corporate Air is one of the largest 24/7 aviation service providers in eastern and southern Australia with bases in Brisbane, Sydney, Goulburn, Canberra and Melbourne. The Company is widely respected by customers and aviation industry regulators for its safe, reliable and cost effective delivery of products and services. Corporate Air has in place a ‘best practice’ strategy, providing professional services and a wide range of aircraft types that are best suited to client requirements. Specifically we provide a variety of air charter services tailored to meet the requirements of corporate, government, convention and sporting organisations. Amongst these services are corporate and business charter flights, fly-in fly-out (FIFO) services, overnight freight, airborne remote sensing services, search and rescue, and outback tour services. Corporate Air also provides aircraft ground handling services for airline, corporate, freight and itinerant aircraft, handling over 4,500 aircraft annually. The Company operates its own state-of-the-art CASA approved aircraft heavy maintenance facility at Goulburn, NSW. This facility maintains all of the Corporate Air fleet to the highest standards as well as providing aircraft maintenance services to a number of external clients. The Company possesses highly developed management systems together with well trained personnel fully supporting the principles of resilience and quality service delivery. Its people and systems make Corporate Air an organisation that can take a client requirement and build a solution that is safe, efficient and absolutely meets the client’s requirements from commencement of operations. It recognises the importance of providing a product that integrates high levels of safety and compliance with client requirements. BFC Air Safaris Australia is the sister company of Brisbane Flight Charter; it's adventurous younger sister, if you will. Brisbane Flight Charter is a flight charter and air tours company founded by James McIlvenny in 2016. Family-run and owned, we love to fly and explore! Our Aircraft on tour is either a Piper Chieftain or a Cessna 208 Caravan. Both are 10 seat workhorses of the outback. With a full load of passengers and bags, we can fly around 700 km with an hour of reserve fuel. We try to stop every two hours to give everyone a chance to stretch. With two piston engines or one turbine engine, delightful flying characteristics, comfortable seats and great load carrying capacity for their type, the Piper Chieftain or Cessna Caravan will continue to be a staple of Australian aviation for years to come.

We are a family business who have lived and worked in the outback since the early 1900s. The late Rod Dyer, founder of Air Adventure Australia, started operating air safaris across Australia in 1977.
