Ansett Aviation Training is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced DHC-8 and ATR-72 contractor instructors to support current and upcoming training programs across our global simulator network.

This opportunity may suit current or former airline instructors, training captains, or experienced pilots interested in contributing to high-quality simulator training in a professional and collaborative environment.

About the Opportunity

AAT is building a pool of qualified DHC-8 and ATR-72 instructors to support training delivery across our simulator network. Opportunities may include contract, casual, or project-based instructional roles depending on program demand.

Instructors play a key role in delivering professional training to airline customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and training quality.

Indicative Requirements

EOIs are invited from candidates who have:

  • Current or previous DHC-8 or ATR-72 command or instructional experience

  • Experience in airline or simulator training environments

  • Strong knowledge of multi-crew airline operations and training standards

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

  • The ability to deliver structured training within a professional simulator environment

Ideally, applicants will hold an EASA licence and relevant instructional approvals, however applications from experienced instructors holding other ICAO licences will also be considered.
