Technical Representative - Civil Helicopters

Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Representative - Civil Helicopters to deliver exceptional technical and field support services to our civil helicopter customers. This is a vital role within the Customer Support & Services team, ensuring the safe, effective, and timely delivery of technical solutions that meet our high standards and our customers' operational requirements.
About the Role:
As a Technical Representative, you will act as the frontline technical expert for civil helicopter customers across the region. You will support the delivery of contracted services, resolve technical issues, and coordinate cross-functional support activities, all while ensuring compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver contracted technical services and customer training.
Provide field support for technical issues, upgrades, retrofits, and service bulletins.
Support safe helicopter operations with clear and timely technical recommendations.
Coordinate support services related to maintenance and engineering activities.
Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain operational continuity.
Act as the technical voice of the customer within Airbus Helicopters and AAP.
Ensure technical feedback and emerging support issues are captured and addressed.
Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet service targets and performance goals.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance engineering (Part 145 or equivalent), CAM (Part M or equivalent), or technical support services in aviation.
Strong understanding of maintenance operations, engineering dependencies, and logistics.
In-depth knowledge of Airbus helicopter types (e.g. H175 and/or H160 preferred).
Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (CAANZ, CASA, EASA, etc.).
Experience managing service delivery in a customer-facing or operationally complex environment.
Qualifications:
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (EASA, CASR, NZCAA - B2 LAME) with Airbus helicopter type ratings (H175 and/or H160 desirable).
