We are currently seeking applications from previously trained and rated Air Traffic Controllers who hold Australian Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
Essential Requirements
- Hold a current rating and endorsement in an Air Traffic Control environment
- Hold an ICAO level 6 English language proficiency
- A minimum 3 years operational experience (preferred)
- Be able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application
- Currently employed or have been previously employed as an operational Air Traffic Controller within the last five years
- Are able to hold or gain a Class 3 Medical
- Must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident as an ASIC is required for this role
Medical & Security Requirements
Licensing as an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) requires attainment of a Class 3 Medical Certificate in accordance with medical standards specified by CASA, Part 67 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASRs). Any individual unable to meet the prescribed medical standards will be ineligible for ATC training and/or employment with Airservices Australia.
Airservices Australia recruitment policy requires that any individual being considered for appointment undergo a Police Records Check. Any offer of training and subsequent employment is contingent upon a successful check. Successful applicants will also be required to undertake a security clearance check as part of the recruitment process.
