About the Role

Airflite is seeking experienced AMEs and LAMEs (Mechanical/B1) to join the team at Jandakot Airport and Perth Airport. Positions offer a stable 40-hour work week with competitive compensation reflecting your CASA licence categories, ratings, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform, supervise, and certify scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance in accordance with technical data, CASA regulations, and CASR Part 145 expositions
  • Evaluate and report defects, troubleshoot complex mechanical and systems issues, and maintain the highest safety standards
  • Work across workshops, hangar operations, on-wing repairs, and occasional customer site visits
  • LAMEs: Provide mentoring, guidance, and practical training supervision to AMEs and apprentices

Essential Requirements

  • LAMEs: Current CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence – B1 category
  • AMEs: Experience on GA and executive jet aircraft
  • Jandakot Airport site: Experience with Beechcraft, Cessna, and Piper aircraft families
  • Perth Airport site: Experience with corporate, turboprop, or transport-category aircraft
  • Solid understanding of CASA airworthiness directives, human factors, and SMS
  • Ability to hold an ASIC, current Australian driver's licence, and complete pre-employment medical screening
