Cloncurry Mustering Company (CMC) has been providing helicopter services to North & Northwest Australia since its inception in 1984. Originating with our main base in Cloncurry and 2 helicopters, CMC has expanded to a fleet of 23 helicopters and now has bases in Normanton and Mareeba. CMC also has helicopters operating out of Mt Isa (QLD), Halls Creek (WA) and Middleton (QLD). Cloncurry Air Maintenance is a Robinson Helicopter Co approved maintenance facility and a sister company to Cloncurry Mustering Co which operates out of the main hangar in Cloncurry. The growth of Cloncurry Mustering Co can be attributed to our many returning clients and customer support as well as the professional team of people employed at CMC.

H&A Air is an outback aviation provider based out of Broken Hill, run by husband & wife team, Hugh & Aliza Lord. H&A Air operate under a CASA-approved Air Operators Certificate (AOC), and are accredited for charter, scenic flights, and aerial mustering. Hugh is our Chief Pilot. A commercial pilot, who grew up on a sheep and cattle station just outside of Broken Hill, Hugh is passionate about both flying and the bush – making him the perfect tour guide, with plenty of local outback knowledge. In between her work as a GP, Aliza works behind the scenes on marketing and administration.

Based in the NSW Snowy Valleys town of Tumut, Truenorth Helicopters have been operating since 1999. Chief Pilot Jim Ryan first took to the skies in 1989, behind the controls of an aircraft tasked with mustering cattle in the far north. In the true Australian entrepreneurial spirit, it was here, while working on one business, he saw the potential for another; luxury helicopter tourism and aerial support. In 2000 Jim began aerial fire fighting, seeking some more challenging flying, and met fellow firefighter Bridget. With a background in Natural Resource Management and Aerial Fire Fighting, Bridget worked as a fire firefighter and rappel team member in Victoria. Although she was more comfortable jumping out of the helicopter than staying in, Bridget and Jim found an unexpected partnership form. A sparkling new Bell 407 signified the beginning of the company in 1999. Since then, with the support of a great team, Jim and Bridget have continued to climb onwards and upwards. Growing their operation to boast an impressive combination of expertise, knowledge and high-quality equipment, ensuring the job at hand is completed safely and efficiently every time.

With approvals for various airwork an Air Transport operations, we specialize in aerial photography, survey work, emergency flood and fire response, animal control, Charter/ Air Transport, and external load operations. Chinta Air specialises in scenic flights from bases across South Australia, and air charter across Australia. The company is privately owned. We operate aircraft that are maintained to the exacting standards that are demanded by the Australian Outback. Our charter bases Chinta Air has bases at Ceduna, on South Australia’s Far West Coast, and at Rawnsley Park Station, which is located on the South side of Wilpena Pound in the heart of the Flinders Ranges. During the winter months, we offer flights over the Great Australian Bight Marine Park and the Bunda Cliffs from the Nullarbor Roadhouse. Charter plane services From all bases, Chinta Air provides aircraft and pilots for both scenic flights and an air taxi / air charter service. This includes: - scenic flights - ad hoc air charter - freight transport; - aerial photography (still and motion); - survey flights (environmental or property); - aerial spotting (fish, fauna, fire, and flood); - search & rescue operations.
