Aerowork, a Ravensdown subsidiary, is New Zealand's largest aerial fertiliser applicator, flying a GPS-equipped fixed-wing fleet backed by loader trucks and an in-house engineering department.
Aerowork is New Zealand's largest aerial fertiliser applicator and a wholly owned subsidiary of Ravensdown. The operation runs a GPS-equipped fixed-wing fleet engaged in topdressing work, supported by a dedicated loader truck fleet and an in-house engineering department that maintains the aircraft and support equipment. All flying is conducted within New Zealand.
Aerial application forms one part of an end-to-end nutrient supply service covering testing, advising, buying, shipping, storing, spreading, measuring and mapping for agricultural producers. The technical base spans agronomy, soil and nutrient testing, nutrient management science, environmental science, and precision measurement and mapping - disciplines that inform application planning, rate control and post-application measurement across the spreading programme.
The parent organisation, Ravensdown, is a New Zealand agricultural co-operative structured around farmer interests, supplying fertiliser, farm inputs and integrated nutrient solutions nationwide. Its stated mission is "Smarter farming for a better New Zealand", and it operates under the values of Whanaungatanga (We Connect), Kaitiakitanga (We Respect) and Kotahitanga (We Deliver), with a stated commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Environmental products and services form a further line of business alongside agronomic advice and solutions.
