The Australian Aerobatic Academy is a CASA-approved Part 141 flight training organisation dedicated to providing Sydney with high-quality primary flight training, aerobatic training, advanced handling and adrenaline-charged joy flights. The Academy’s mission is to provide our customers with the best possible training and customer service in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. Our team of highly skilled instructors and pilots are experienced and dedicated professionals who have qualified themselves beyond the minimum required standards to provide you with a higher level of skill. We don’t believe in the concept of producing masses of minimum-standard pilots in the minimum possible time or budget with instructors meeting the minimum experience requirements. Accordingly our small team of dedicated, experienced instructors guarantee to provide you with personalised, high quality tuition.

Founded in 1994 Horizon Airways has a successful history of training students for their Recreational, Private and Commercial Pilot Licences plus Ratings and Endorsements Pilot Training varies from beginner to Commercial Pilot including RPL, PPL, NVFR, Private IFR and CPL along with design features endorsements such as Constant Speed Propeller, Retractable undercarriage, multi-Engine ratings and more. Under new management since July 2021, the hangar/office has undergone a revamp with departure lounge, offices and upstairs classrooms. We also now conduct theory classes and stock a variety of headsets, books and charts for purchase. We have an additional instructor plus we are expanding our available aircraft. Charter is available with Pilots experienced in the Mackay, Whitsundays and throughout Central and North Queensland areas at affordable prices. Horizon Airways also offers Private Aircraft Hire.

Aerostar Aviation is a CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) approved training organisation, providing the highest standard of instruction. Our location at Parafield Airport north of Adelaide offers ideal flying training conditions in controlled airspace with student friendly air traffic controllers. Operating alongside a maintenance organisation (NAC) means our planes have minimal down time, and also gives students the chance to learn more about the aircraft and their maintenance. Helistar Aviation Helistar Aviation has been providing helicopter services to major clients since 2005. We provide aviation solutions across Australia specialising in air work but also providing charter flights and helicopter training. We have proven expertise in highly specialised work such as powerline inspection and insulator washing, search & rescue work, filming for feature films and geophysical survey work in remote areas. If you have a need for an aviation solution, we can provide it. Our key priority is your safety. To ensure we meet the highest levels of safety performance, we have implemented a Safety Management System that conforms to the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s safety management framework and to AS45001 for safety management systems. Key clients audit our safety management system on a regular basis and the international Flight safety Foundation audits Helistar annually and has certified it to meet its Gold BAR standard so you can rest assured that we conform to these standards.

AAT offers bot recreational and Commercial flight training options, and a multitude of ratings and endorsements. AAT is located at the Redcliffe Aerodrome, only 25km away from the Brisbane CBD. Redcliffe is an economical place to fly without the need for slots to be booked and low airport fees. Being so close to the training area, students spend less time on the ground and more time completing their lessons.
